Kodi, the autism assistance dog, came to visit An Naíonra preschool and quickly became everyone’s favourite guest. He was calm, gentle, and very well trained, showing the children how he helps people feel safe and supported. We learned that Kodi is trained by Fiona, the mum of one of our classmates, who works hard to teach dogs these very special skills. The children loved giving Kodi gentle pats and watching how well he listened to Fiona’s commands. It was a lovely visit, and we all learned how important assistance dogs can be.
